KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist and advise Project Managers and Project/Lead Engineers in relation to
cost estimates.
• Coordinate cost estimation activities and input from various disciplines and
departments.
• Compiles, checks and benchmarks cost estimation data.
• Estimates project cost based on Bill of Materials, Labour cost, Equipment and
project specification to express most representative cost estimate.
• Collect and update market price data of materials, equipment and manpower
to be used in the cost estimate.
• Analyze project cost estimate based on economic parameters.
• Perform sensitivity analysis of the estimates and cash flow forecasts to
determine cash requirements and potential problem areas and corrective
action to be taken.

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Project Management Institute certification is
an added advantage.
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years experience in Cost Estimation of major Oil Field, Petrochemical and
or Oil and Gas handling projects.
• Demonstrated Proficiency in Computer skills including all Microsoft Office
products.
Minimum Experience: 5 years

Contract Engineer - Nigeria

Drilling Engineer – Nigeria - £excellent for the right candidate – fast availability required a minimum of 3 years experience in the position of drilling engineer to take on a new project in Nigeria on a 28 / 28 rotation basis.
Do you have onshore drilling experience that would allow you to perform the role of drilling engineer to the highest standards??
Responsibilities would include
i. Participating in well design reviews and risk analysis.
ii. Taking responsibility for the day-to-day on-site planning and execution of drilling, completion and workover activities, maintaining maximum Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and operational efficiency, at maximum value in terms of cost versus benefits.
iii. Will be responsible for implementation of all the company's policies, procedures and guidelines on drilling operations, safety and environmental protection.
iv. Will be representative on site and is responsible for first line response and problem solving of non planned operations.
v. Supervising the drilling contractors and service personnel to ensure all work performed conform to safety, quality and highest value requirements and in accordance with the well program.
vi. Providing regular, sufficient, accurate and timely data to office-based Well Delivery Team members.
vii. Coordinating the timely supply of required equipment, consumables and specialist services to ensure uninterrupted continuation of operations.
viii. Implementing the well plan, time and cost targets.
ix. Inputting and verifying the accuracy of Well Information System (WIS) daily drilling reports.
x. Taking full responsibility for safe & flawless execution of wells.
The key skills required are:
- Minimum of 3 years in the role of drilling engineer.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in oil and gas.
- Desire to progress quickly within a fast growing company.
- Experience working on onshore projects.
- The ability to perform all of the above responsibilities.
