Topic: Chevron PE skill test of MAY 5th

people why are there no replies? please those of u dat went for the test should give feed back ooo

I wrote the Earth scientist skills test. There were some suprises but it was ok by God's grace. The test was 3hrs. Does anybody have an idea of when the results normally come out? Pls respond.

@eddyscott, 3hrs? was it theory based? what was the pattern?

i think the next stage is interview.

There were 46 objective questions, with some that require u to show ur calculations (46 marks). The section B was to generate a subsurface map (24 marks). Section C was to draw a cross-section (20 marks), while section D was 2 theory questions (10 marks).

@sabibest, petroleum guys have been called and they wrote their test on 5th may.

The Petroleum skills test was all theory questions, 10 to answer 8 questions in the first part and 6 to answer 4 in the second part and then a bonus question 17. the first section was 10 marks for each question while the second was 5 marks for each question and d bonus 17 was 5 marks too. It had basic engineering questions on the three disciplines(chemical,petroleum and mechanical) with majority on petroleum engineering questions. There was also physics. the test ran 4 two hours,not enough time at all and there was a sort of formula table given during the test to assist in d calculations. It was well organized and those that are successful (like us by God's grace) will be called this month for the interview. I hope this is informative enough.

@all what is the hope of those who wrote there test on the 31st of may i mean the aptitude test.Does it mean if you have not been called now thats the end or are they calling in batches?

any news so far about the skills test that was written on 5th May for pet eng position? I am guessing the successful ones have been called for interview, or wat do you guyz think?
