Further to your application with Chevron Nigeria Limited for Petroleum Engineering/Earth Science position, you have been invited for an aptitude test as detailed below:

Date: Saturday 21-Jul-2012

Time: 11:00 AM

Venue: , Chams @ Port-Harcourt No 89, Stadium Road, Beside FEDEX Express, Port-Harcourt



Now we are clear on what kinda test we be having. But yu can still prep 4 skills. Case dismissed!

It is all a matter of 'if you have enough time on your hands'. If you feel you are adequately prepared for the aptitude test, you will not lose a thing preparing for the skills test. You are however on your own if you ain't 'there' yet with regards to preparation for aptitude test and you are preparing for skills test (except you dey claim faith). For the same recruitment that was carried out last year (Petroleum Engineer, Drilling Engineer, IT and Financial Accountant; not the Oil and Gas test that was carried out this year), Chevron conducted a PROPER skills test at their HQ in Lekki. The kind of test that Dragnet could not possibly organize for them. You have the pieces of information you need. Make your choice.

Just a point to note. For those comparing Mobil recruitment test procedures with Chevron, they are miles apart.

Jekyll, that was for Oil and Gas test. Chevron has always done their position-specific skills test in-house and na proper skills test

i have being trying to reschedule my test location but the e-mail keeps bouncing back, please help.

In the new mail I received this evening, it specified that the test areas are verbal,numerical and abstract..

mine is stil saturday bt d tym was changd to 2pm!

Lol, looks like dey'v bin following this thread. They have helped us with some specifications in their new mails to us:
This duration for this test is about 1 hour, including breaks. Make sure you come along with your user ID and Password, as you will need them to take the test. The test you are taking has three sections: Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning.

What could be the problem for this "Re-reschedule"?

... Was also rescheduled from 9am on Sat. to 2:30pm on Fri. Guess there must be a reason for the sudden changes.

I. Think the rescheduling from Saturday to Friday is to avoid what happened during the mobil test from repeating itself. A situation were there was leakage on the first day of the test which benefited those writing on the second day. Now if there be any leakage the effect will be minimal. Just my opinion sha.

though wt the latest info in our box now ,it seems we do not neeed to bother ourselves wt the skills teas now bt i must say tthat the skill test in may was CBT too wt 4 options and calculations too

wanna reschedule for friday in abuja, i just hope the test holds den, else earler on saturday will do, dt 12PM dey gave me was just nt it at all.................

@dammyz09, if you think the questions can be gotten for free then go to the street and find them or goto book shops and buy them, stay there!! While other people practice with them.

@ DIVFAVOR... Where are you writing yours?... Houston, London, Lag, PH, Benin or Abj.
