We are a leading Engineering Consulting Company, whose focus has been on rendering the following services: Technical Training, Recruitment of technical Personnel, Outsourcing of Technical Personnel and rendering engineering consulting services to the Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, engineering services, Hospitality Industry, etc. We seek the services of an experienced BDE with a proven track record in a similar environment.

The ideal candidate will have 4 years sales experience in the Engineering Consulting, Management Consulting and/or IT consulting field.

Responsibilities
• Define and implement a sound Business Development strategy in line with our approach to consulting;
• Acquire and develop your own client portfolio through networking and commercial actions;
• Become a trusted and privileged partner for your clients by ensuring that our services meet your clients’ expectations, quality standards and business objectives;
• Generate revenue with new clients through aggressive prospecting and maintain client relations among existing client contacts for recruitment, training and consulting.
• Close, service and follow-up on sales of recruitment, training and consulting services.
• Develop strategic account plans to increase opportunities and revenue with new clients.
• Become familiar with the clients' operating environments including business culture, competition and the impact of changes to these areas.
• Develop relationships and strategic alliances with The Business Development Team to penetrate key markets as required.
• Proposal Evaluation and Development
• Review client requirement documents and specifications to determine whether requirements are appropriate to our corporate objectives and determine whether we can satisfy the requirements and deliver the services requested.
• Support proposal preparation by guiding or authoring methodology development when required for proposals.
• Liaise with, and act as the link between the client and the company through regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively.

Requirements
• First degree or its equivalent preferably in a technical related discipline.
• Four years proven experience in a consulting firm
• Business drive and natural leadership skills
• People management skills
• A business straight forward approach
• Professional sales training is an asset.
