@maxweber, the way dis Easter be, na the chickens,cows,and goats they groove dis Easter cos people no fit afford to pay for their Death-Price (in place of Birth-price for women) . Chrismas,Easter,etc they get poorer as the years go by in Nigeria cos the masses (& graduates) get poorer while the politicians (& a selected few in connection with political office holders) are getting richer.
Anyhow, thank God for Jesus came to die for the poor & save the down-trodden; if not, the rich for don buy the salvation wey the poor suppose get.

@gzl, People just put burdens on themselves by celebrating all these holidays. The bible does not support this things that's why I don't disturb myself. The one and only celebration that Jesus Christ says we should keep doing in remembrance of him does not cost as these other celebrations. It is called THE LORD'S EVENING MEAL OR the last Supper by some translators of the bible. Bread and wine simple. Actually for a very important purpose.

Jesus death is actually beneficial to all. I dey thank God for that ransom sacrifice of his Son.
