This Appointment is reached between PEAK PETROLEUM COMPANY NIGERIA LIMITED, hereby referred to as the First Party or Employer and you arehereby referred to as the Second Party or Employee. The Parties of this agreement have agreed to the terms and Conditions stated below.

1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
After evaluation of your CV and work experience(s), we found you qualified to work with our team. Hence, PEAK PETROLEUM COMPANY NIGERIA LIMITED seeks to employ your services as a member of staff of this company as stipulated in the following acts and conditions herein. This document embodies the approved terms for the purpose of this contract.

We refer to your earlier forwarded application for job engagement with relations to Peak Petroleum Company Nigeria Limited, in Nigeria and job reference number: PEAK/E-JV-EJV/NIG/02-9.
On the above subject matter, Peak Petroleum Company Nigeria Limited, management hereby congratulates you on your successful emergence based on detailed recruitment by our official recruitment consultants; the PEAK PETROLEUM RECRUITERS.
Further details are as follows: SALARY: US $ 1,850 monthly/take-home (After tax), Dollars or Euros equivalent depending on home country and currency preference.

JOB LOCATION: Lagos State-Nigeria.

You are to resume with PEAK PETROLEUM on the 29^th of OCTOBER 2012

JOB PROCEEDINGS / REQUIREMENTS:


Upon your acceptance of this offer, the following below must be provided for further proceedings. You are expected to provide us with your Department of Petroleum Resources Certificate (DPR).

CONTRACT DURATION: 48 months (Liable for upward review depending on your commitment and expertise).
DURATION OF WORK PERIODS: Three months’ work, one-month pay leave.
WORK TIME: Work time shall be 40 hours’ workweek for the 48 months contract term. Any work performed beyond the normal 40 hours a week, work time, shall be due for an overtime benefit to be paid at $400.00 per hour.

MOBILIZATION:
The first 2 (Two) month salary shall be paid in advance before consultants embark on journey to assume duty. This is to enable you settle all domestic needs before travel. As such no excuses will be entertained on assumption of duty relating to default. Your first two month salary, following the official procedures has been deposited with the FOREIGN TRUST INSURANCE COMPANY (F.T.I.C). This insurance company is in service with the PEAK PETROLEUM Worldwide, upon your acceptance of this offer, and provision of your scanned copy of your DPR certificate you shall be due for the issue of two month salary to ensure glitch preparations of your working documents before the resumption date. However, your resumption date is very near; this is due to the previous holidays/breaks encountered in the past. Therefore you are to make possible arrangements so as to meet – up with the given resumption date(s).
ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation will be provided for you. Quality single or family accommodation in Company communities only as necessitated by employee.

TRAVEL PAPERS/DOCUMENTS: (For Expatriates)
Your employer, PEAK PETROLEUM COMPANY NIGERIA LIMITED shall be responsible for any expenses whatsoever involved in the processing of your immigration work permit and residence permit papers before you embark on duty (for Expatriates) . Nevertheless, any further expenses required shall be at your own expenses.
TRAVEL ALLOWANCE: Employer for each intercontinental trip shall be paid USD $4,000.00 flat rate travel/entertainment allowance to employee.
LOCAL TRANSPORT: Vehicles and other means of transport shall be adequately provided for.


NOTE THAT APPLICANT WHO DO NOT HAVE THE DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES CERTIFICATE ARE EXPECTED TO CONTACT THE AGENCY IN CHARGE OF THE PROCESSING OF THE CERTIFICATE WITH THE BELOW ADDRESS FOR FURTHER ARRANGEMENT ON THEIR (DPR) DOCUMENTS AS NO APPLICANT SHALL BE ALLOWED TO WORK WITHOUT PROPER DOCUMENTS. SECONDLY, THE PAYMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE DPR CERTIFICATE HAS TO BE PAID BY EMPLOYEE AND NOT BY PEAK PETROLEUM COMPANY NIGERIA LIMITED. TWO MONTHS UPFRONT SALARY WILL BE RELEASED TO YOU ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE ACQUIRED THE DPR CERTIFICATE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES.
