Topic: 2013 NDDC Foreign Scholarship is out

Yet another wild good chase, well I have been shortlisted for NITDA scholarship test @Abuja Chams city next week, hoping it will be better than this crappy NDDC.

New week, New month, and New monday.... NDDC! I await thee...

Can one confirmed from another forum like naira land whether there will be another invitation for second list? cos I can't get the thread in naiaraland.

I was at the briefing yesterday and feel you all should be informed of what went down.

1. There will be another briefing next week. So expect some more invites
2. According to the Director, invitation to the briefing isn't tantamount to being awarded the scholarship. It is just the next stage in the selection process
3. For Masters students, the commission has highlighted some UK Universities as partners. Scholars will only be sponsored to those Universities and only for courses selected by NDDC. People with admissions to Universities not on the list will be assisted by the NDDC to secure new admissions.

The list of approved Universities are as follows:

• Cranfield University
• Swansea University
• University of Aberdeen
• Robert Gordon University
• Sheffield University
• Coventry University

Please how certain are u that they will call another set of people this week? were u told by the board or u just heard speculations from the successful candidates? pls reply so we will know the next move move. thanks

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been indisposed. I can confirm that an NDDC official stated that there will be a briefing this week. I do not know the exact date however.

To answer your questions, no we haven't received the award letters. I did not choose any of the universities listed as I don't think they would be worth it.
