Job Description


•Coordinates, compiles and prepares all clients short and long and term business plans, operating plans, work program and budget ensuring that corporate strategies and objectives are maintained throughout the planning process.
•Sets planning cycles for WPB preparation including approval cycles.
•Initiates and develops key performance indicators (KPI's) to drive focused business plan implementation.

Responsibilities


•Monitor business plan implementation and work with Finance to ensure budget expenditure alignment with the business plan.
•Develop suitable planning guidelines, procedures, and related corporate planning assumptions and ensure completed plans fulfill Company objectives and planning criteria.
•Works with various Functions to prepare performance metrics, set performance targets, and reporting requirements.
•Coordinates and compiles and prepares FEP Monthly Reports.
•Coordinates the preparation of presentation materials and briefing reports for the Board, including coordinating the preparation of resolutions on FEP matters for the Board's approval.
•Keeps abreast of related developments within the oil development industry.
•Provide support for the Field Development Plans and opportunity realisation process.
•Review selected projects and obtain management approval before commencing budget definitions and breakdowns.
•Review project plans, timing and budget and ensure they meet defined guidelines and advise the Managing Director accordingly.
•Monitor project execution activities and prepare monthly budget performance for both project and operating expenditures.
•Schedule quarterly management performance review meeting with full participation of key staff ensuring that Function Leaders take responsibility for their individual units.
•Maintains an awareness of opportunities due to current developments and methodology in the planning and economic analyses areas and market trends and information concerning demand/pricing of oil and gas in the international market place.
•Coordinates and organizes all client Technical and management meeting with partners and shareholders. Disseminates proper information upon direction from Managing Director to concerned parties.
•Advises and contributes to the development of long term objectives and strategies for projects.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a Technical Subject.
•+10 years' experience in the Oil industry in a Technical Function. Knowledge of Economics will be an added advantage.
•Computer literacy, including the use of economic models, spreadsheets and database systems.
•A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
•Internal and External Contacts - Networking skills.
•Key player in planning the development of long-term strategies, based on aligning goals and capabilities with external business and economic scenarios.
•Ability to work with senior business leaders.
