COMPANYLAWYER / LEGAL ADVISOR (for a Group of Companies)
Job Description:

1) Contributes to formulate and develop legal strategy, plans and budget forthe legal department to ensure the legal policy guidelines implementation andadherence.

2) Provides internal legal advisory services on legal matters related to registrationof new companies…etc., to ensure that the corporate activities are in line withthe applicable laws.

3) Works on legal matters such as new agreements, reviewing existing agreements,establishing new companies, issue necessary documents to meet the requirementsof relevant laws & maintain the standard practice of company’s correctlegal position.

4) Maintains custody of legal documents to ensure copyright handling.

5) Ensure compliance with various statutory requirements of the law includingprocurement and renewal of licenses, agreement e.t.c.

6) Assists HR on revising employment contract to facilitate the recruitment ordismissed of employees and to insure its conformity to relevant Labour Laws.


7)Formulate, provide, advise and / or review all contracts agreements betweenthe company, third parties and new joint ventures to ensure that the company’sinterest is protected and the best commercial position maintained. To ensurethe company’s interests are fully protected and redress of grievance obtained.


Lead the company loans scheme, submit application, answer inquiries, prepareall legal documents required for loans, mortgage companies’ assets againstloans and finally obtain interest loans.

- Corporate Affairs processes and procedures
- Familiar with local and international company laws and regulations - Proven track record of drafting, reviewingand editing agreements and contracts
Requirements
Ideal candidates’requirements: LLB(Hons), BL; MBA will be an advantage; minimum of 7years ofproven post call practice experience, strong advocacy skills, Be computerliterate; Not more than 40years.
