Job Description/Responsibilities
At our company, the business manager focuses on customers’ expectations, while preventing problems and striving for continuous improvement resulting in satisfactory results for customers, other employees, and the company. He/she also develops and implements marketing strategies; directs contractual negotiations and assists in the negotiations as necessary; oversees pricing policy, price maintenance, price schedules, evaluations, and approval of off-list prices; and develops and implements new product programs that will ensure sustained profit growth.
Qualifications/Skills
It’s crucial you can contribute to the corporate strategic growth plan via annual business audits, evaluations, and business plans; and prepare literature and promotional materials so the company can present its products and services in the best possible light in the marketplace.
Education/Background
A Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent in Business Administration or Marketing is required. A minimum of five years of experience in a related field is also required. You must be computer literate and have a demonstrated ability in contract proposals, negotiations, and new product and new business development. The ability to prepare business plans, strategies, and objectives is a must.
