Job Description:


  • The RPA will be responsible for providing a wide-range of support to the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) NTD program and will represent RTI's ENVISION program in Nigeria. The RPA will work closely with the FMOH to support and ensure effective management of ENVISION's contributions to the national program. The RPA will provide technical oversight for implementation of integrated NTD activities, including strategic program collaboration.
  • Information sharing, and identification of technical assistance needs. The RPA will collaborate with the national NTD task force to support the goals of LF, Onchocerciasis and blinding trachoma elimination and control of soil-transmitted helminthes and schistosomiasis.
  • The RPA will play an integral role in working with the FMOH to develop a national, integrated M&E NTD database. The RPA will assist with strategic planning, NTD program assessments, and impact surveys.
  • The RPA will work with the ENVISION headquarters to ensure timely submission of technical and financial deliverables and sound management of program budgets and contractual obligations in Nigeria.
  • The position will be full-time; based in Ahuja, reporting to the ENVISION Program's Deputy Technical Director.

Job Description:


  • The Finance Officer will work closely with the RPA and will manage all ENVISION program activities in finance and logistics/coordination in-country.
  • S/he will also be expected to support IT, logistics, and general administration in the project and ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement and RTI financial procedures;
  • He/she is responsible for quality control.
  • Financial reporting and monitoring.
  • The Finance Officer is also responsible for ensuring appropriate systems and procedures (payroll, cash management, vendor payments, budgeting and other related to financial management) are in place to properly disburse, account, budget and report project funds which are cost effective, timely; have proper internal controls and comply with the terms of the agreement.
  • The position will be full-time, based in Abuja and report to the Nigeria Resident Program Advisor.
