did you receive this by post or email and who are you paying this money to? Be careful 'cos the winners of the last US visa lottery have not been selected yet. It will most likely be a scam anyways if it tells you to pay the money anywhere outside the US Embassy in Nigeria.

First of all Did you apply for the Visa/Permanent residence permit ? if not,.....Run for your dear life, its a Scam

I have posted same on this forum. I have gotten this mail before but after investigation and enlightenment from the house, I realized it was a SCAM.
The U.S Embassy told me same.
Don't Pust It!!!!!!! Its a BIG and WELL organized Scam.

I received same mail, it's purely SCAMdalous.

I will advise u to go to the US embassy to Comfirm
the authent of the Agent before you take other
step . But, if i were u; I wil run away far, because
i got a message similar to this before

Boy its a scam, if you did apply for the visa lottery last year then you should know that the rules have changed. There will be no email notification, you will have to use the reference number you were given when you applied for the green card by 1/june/2011 to check if you were successful or not. My brother ignore the mail, its scam big time. cheers

i recvd somtin similar 2 dat demand d pymt of $440 to one mr pen @ uk.pls ignore d mail 4 now and do further research on dat. d 1st time i checkd d mail was via my mobile phone and i was seein somtin similar to hack and u knw if u add d suffix 'er' dat wil giv u d sender name.
