Responsibilities: | · Manages the liquidity of the organization and ensures that cash is readily available to meet the financial obligations on a need basis.
· Managing bank accounts, cash flow monitoring, planning, pooling and netting
· Procurement of finance for working capital or tied to specific projects
· Maintaining Relationship with rating agencies
· Foreign exchange risk management
· Analysing the impact of financial markets on the performance of the company’s financial assets and liabilities
· Facilitates prompt cash, cheque or direct debit payments to suppliers, vendors and other creditors.
· Facilitates the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
· Maintains records of cash requests and disbursements for each Unit
· Manages the petty cash register as well as spreadsheets to allow for reconciliation of accounts.
· Disburses cash to approved petty cash requisitions,
· Processes expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances to staff
· Processes basic recurring expense registers.
· Keeps up-to-date with the industry’s current tax practices and policies.
· Liaises with Financial Accountant to facilitate the prompt and accurate remittance of tax liability in compliance with requirements of tax regulatory authorities.
· Prepares periodic reports for submission to the Group Treasurer. |

· Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field | · Relevant Qualification in Finance and Accounts e.g. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) | · 5 years experience in the corporate Treasury management function of a similar organization. |
