Topic: stanbicIBTC vs gtb-which is better?

Stanbic is an multinational bank (well known for its investment/trading activities) and they invest greatly on their staff in terms of training. You get about 4 trainings a year.


The salary as well is not bad at all. I personally will go for stanbic. Having said that, gtb aint bad as well out but I feel they are more into commercial banking.

bro...first of all congratulations what i really knoe abt GTB is their pay abt 2.7milll/annum which is on their appointment leta,n u got 2 be trained 4 3month n u get stipend of 50k,u are xpected to get above 68% after which u guys wud be posted based on ur performance,the high guys get the oppurtunity to choose lag,abuja n so...abt career advancement n the study leave i wudnt knw abt that...n dat 4 stanbic

Well, I served in stanbic nd I fink GTB is better, infact most of d staff in stanbic nw r resigning nd going 2 banks like GTb, citi nd co. Stanbic don't really promote deir staff, u won't grow, d operatn manager hs bin in stanbic 4 10yrs nd she's still an operatn manager while her mates in GTB r nw regional managers. So I fink GTB is better,

House plz,i got a text message that i am invited for job interview as a marketer for stanbic ibtc through a recruiting agent. After d interview in lagos i was told that am successful,that i should come with a gurantor letter or number with #2000 for job registration. Could this be a scam?

Stanbic pays 122k 4 graduate nd I finished serving ds year...

stanbic is nt adviceable 4 me. i wuld prefer gtb
