Business Banker.

Location: Igando

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist Business Owners open accounts, manage account issues and bring helpful business banking products to an owner’s attention as necessary.
• Develop relationships with businesses within the position’s assigned market area as well as grow customers at a pace faster than general market growth that is consistent with the Financial Institution’s Strategy
• Manage and optimize value from a portfolio of SME customers.

Skills:
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Good numerical skills, business acumen and financial acumen to interpret financial statements, balance sheets and basic financial ratios.
• A thorough knowledge of standardised business banking transactional products and other core products relevant to small business enterprises.
• A good working knowledge and understanding of behavioural credit scoring principles and practices, including an understanding of securities and balance sheets.

Qualifications: HND only with a minimum of Lower Credit; minimum of 1 year Sales and Marketing experience in a Bank or Financial Institution. Not Older than 35 years.

Sales Agent.

Location: Lagos Mainland and Island.

Job Responsibilities:
• Identify and understand the need of the Customer.
• Ensure Customer profile falls within focus segment i.e Blue, Silver or SME.
• Sell the Banks Products proactively to new/prospective customers.
• Obtain relevant documents on all Bank products sold, e.g. identity document, business registration documents etc
• Ensure accuracy of all bank forms and documents executed by the Customer.
• Ensure timely processing of all initiated Customer transactions, with specific emphasis on account opening and cheque book issuance.
• Update call memo on a daily basis.
• Ensure assigned sales target and budgets are met.
• Participate in tactical sales/marketing activities.
• Ensure timely submission of weekly sales activity reports to Direct Sales Manager.
• Participate in weekly/monthly sales performance review meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, budget achievements and cross-sell referrals.
• Cross-sell opportunities identified should be referred to the Direct Sales Manager.
• Obtain necessary documents from customers, where required.
• Ensure timely submission of all forms and documents to relevant internal unit for processing.
• Monitor status of Customer loan requests through the Sales Support team.
