An Oil servicing company located in Trans-Amadi Port Harcourt requires a Procurement Officer urgently.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must be a resident of Port Harcourt

Education& Experience

- Minimum of ND in Purchasing& supply/ Marketing/ Business or Accounting related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the lifting equipment industry; experience in Procurement or Supply Chain would be an advantage
- Broad knowledge of lifting products and accessories
- Basic accounting knowledge of Accounts payables and stock handling


Knowledge& Skills requirement:

- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little supervision
- Excellent computer skills and the willingness to learn company created software for data storage
- Excellent time management
- Some knowledge of accounting systems will be an advantage
- The ideal candidate will be personable, professional, be detail oriented and comfortable communicating and negotiating with subcontractors/suppliers.
