I work in an Insurance company(name withheld) in Victoria Island. I was recruited into the company as a management trainee in 2008. After 3 weeks intensive training, I resumed at the head office January, 2009. My monthly net pay for the first 6 months before confirmation was N106,000. After my confirmation, I started receiving monthly take home pay of N130,000. But my monthly pay now is N110,000 due to salary cut of 15% as a result of the meltdown. Though I work in their investment unit.

But the monthly pay for marketers is about N15,000 while the rest is based on commission. In my company, the marketers are the big boys cos of huge commission they receive when they sell.

I think this should be ok for now.
