1.) Manufacturing Development Specialist



Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Development Specialist will coordinate all SABMiIIer. World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities and influence the implementation of the WCM Work Practices. The individual will be responsible for identifying, co-operating with and actively participating strategic and systemic level departmental improvement initiatives achieve the business strategy.


Duties and responsibilities
The Manufacturing Development Specialist will among:



  • Co-ordinate learning and development activities for technical production in line with best practice.
  • Train and coach technical staff the need
  • Implement the brewery plan to support WorldManufacturing Implement manufacturing work practices and principles
  • Provide leadership for on going manufacturing development strategies
  • Promote knowledge management processes
  • Apply Value Chain and Improvement

Qualifications and skills required
The occupant of this position should possess

  • Minimum of B.sc in Mechanical/ industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of Five (5) relevant preferably
  • Implementing World Class manufacturing initiatives andwork practice in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment

Key Competencies and Attributes

  • Practical knowledge Manufacturing development program
  • Deep technical knowledge in a brewery. i.e., package' and brewery,
  • High initiative, be independent and proactive
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to details.
  • Medical records keeping record keeping)

2.) Training Specialist (packaging)

Job Summary:

The Training specialist (packaging) who will report to Packaging Manager will create and sustain a progressive Learning environment by providing effective service of the chain focused on acquisition and performanace.


Duties and responsibilities
The Training Specialist (packaging) will among all other duties:

  • Co-ordinate learning coaching and development activities for the packaging department
  • Co-ordinate training assessment on packaging teams
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedure
  • Carry out competence assessment
  • Evaluate the efficiency of training

Qualifications and skills required
The occupant of this position should possess:

  • Minimum of BSC/HND in any engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Relevant technical experience

Key Competence and Attributes

  • Knowledge of performance management. Human Resource Development (HRD) and Competence assessment practices and training evaluation.
  • Deep technical knowledge.
  • Deep experience in packaging or process control environment.
  • Proven training, coaching and facilitation skills.
  • High initiative, be independent and proactive.
  • Attention to details (methodical record keeping).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


3.) Human Resource Officer

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Officer will partner with the HR team to coordinate. plan, motivate. organize, control and implement all people-based policies and strategies to achieve the business strategies


Duties and Responsibilities:
The Human Resource Officer will among other duties:

  • Implement talent management processes and procedures Implement HR strategies
  • Implement Performance Management culture
  • Implement IR policies and strategies to promote peaceful industrial climate
  • Manage employee's health and welfare issues
  • Implement training and development, follow-up ITF approvals and reimbursements, etc
  • Execute employee's wellness programmes

Qualification and skills Required
The occupant of this position should possess:

  • Minimum of BSc. in Human resource Management or Industrial Relation
  • Relations & Management
  • Minimum of five ( 5) years hands-on experience, preferably in the Food
