Position: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, CORPORATE FINANCE

Job Description
• This position will require a candidate to demonstrate finance leverage experience and capital market exposure.
• The candidate must also possess significant experience of corporate finance and financial markets.
• Ideally this will be from a corporate treasury environment with a specific focus on financial modeling, liaising with ratings agencies/relationship banks, preparing reports and debt/funding documentation, and advising on capital management activities,
Requirements
• Ability to perform complex financial modeling and analysis,
• Proven track record of deal closures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in database management and spreadsheet applications.
• Knowledge of budge ling and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection
• Knowledge of overall business strategy and operations including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures, profitability and return on investment modeling and general economic modelling,
• Creation of a short to medium term financing strategy document that supports the business plan and strategy of the firm
• Work closely with the Management team to create performance indicators and financial memes that can be extrapolated into an extensive financial model,
• Draft, analyse and maintain financial statements and reports.
• Publish the monthly financial statements on a timely and accurate basis,
• Any other duty assigned by Management.

Qualification

Position: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, MARKET RESEARCH

Job Description
• This individual will be responsible for the expansion of firm's portfolio of business clients in the pubic and private sector
• To assist with the implementation of the marketing strategy with specific objectives and targets as agreed by Management.
• Develop new capabilities to improve processes and efficiency and to develop appropriate financial methods of evaluating, predicting and measuring Marketing performance,
• To support the overall marketing objectives of company both externally and internally.
• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analysing collected data.
• Gather data on competitors and analyse their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
• Responsible for measurement, planning and forecasting of Marketing activities and IS implications to income statement and balance sheet ld
• Seek and provide information to determine firm's position in the marketplace.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
• Provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distributor, design and pricing of prospective clients' products or services.

Position: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, TAX AUDIT
(Ref: DRD/TA/030)
This position will require a candidate to build and expand firm's portfolio of Corporate and Tax Business clients.
Job Description
• Perform field audits of the financial records of taxpayers to verify that businesses and individuals are in compliance with the tax laws, regulations, and rules of tile Nigerian Tax laws.
• Independently conduct and complete audit work in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Procedures;
• Compile spreadsheet, audit notes, and analyses which meet established standard policy requirements and procedures
• Observes, compares, and reviews financial records of businesses to determine compliance with the Nigerian Tax Laws,
• Organize detailed financial data (i.e., summarizes total gross revenue and deductions by classification, and identifies and segregates exceptions to full compliance with the tax code using samples of source document).
• Writes audit findings and conclusions summaries considering condition, cause and effect;
• Educate clients' in computing and reporting taxes due by explaining legal requirements, rules, regulations, procedures, and ordinances of the Nigerian Tax law and other agencies involved;
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
• Prepare tax computations and support the Management team
• Producing complete reports in line with client brief and budget
• Develop strong Working relationships with allocated clients through assignments and regular contact to identify additional support appropriate to their circumstances and ensure client database is maintained and up to date.
• Preparing for, and assisting with, transaction tax audits.
• Providing guidance based on researcl1 of transaction tax laws and regulations.

The Ideal candidate must possess the following:
• Mustbecl1arteredwith a strong Tax background, ACA/ACCA qualified
• Proven track record in complex reconciliation in a highly reputable organization.
• Must be a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation,
• Highly experienced in the area of tax audit and exceptionally knowledgeable in the Nigerian Tax law.
• Ability to work independen1ly in a fast paced, dynamic environment and to effectively manage multiple projects
• Strong computer technical skills - MS Excel & experience of a range of accountancy software packages
• Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills

Qualification
• Ideally the candidate will hold a professional qualification as a chartered accountant, with a Bacl1eior's degree in related business or technical disciplines is preferred.
