We are one of the oldest and leading Stock brokering firms in Nigeria with Portfolio Management, Securities Trading and Equity Analysis as our core business.


Due to recent improvement in the capital market, our Research team requires additional support and so a position has opened up for a Graduate Trainee/NYSC Corper (serving in Lagos State) for full time employment, providing the opportunity for the successful individual to work closely with the Research team and assist with the preparation of equity research reports.
The role will be supporting the Head of Research and is a fantastic opportunity for an entry level candidate to gain some excellent experience within an Equity Research team. The traineeship will allow the right candidate to carry operational tasks, enhance his/her skills in financial statement analysis and also benefit from the usage of international financial research software.
Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering and tracking information on various companies and create and maintain relevant company financial comparables for each industry, to produce reports as required.
• Conduct research to write up background documents for specific companies
• Maintain and building financial models and industry databases
• Assist with producing incisive reports for investors as and when required

Candidate Requirements:

• Accounting or Finance graduates
• Part qualified ACA,ACCA,CFA,CIS preferred but not necessary
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Good analytical skills with the ability to work individually on a project and still engage in a wider team
• Diligent individual with excellent attention to detail
• MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint savvy
