Applicants must possess a BSc / HND (or its equivalent) with a minimum of Second Class Lower / Upper Credit, in addition to the under-listd requirements:
1.) Systems Programmer / Database Developer / Administrator (Sort Code A1)
Requirements

• BSc / HND in computer Science / Information & communication Tecgnology or any other relevant discipline.
• Additional Certification in Microsoft, Oracle, proficiency in ASP.net, VB.net, C#, Java, HTML, XHTML, CSS, SQL, or Javascript is required.

2.) Geographical Information System (Sort Code A2)
Requirements

• BSc / HND in Computer Science / Geography / Information & Communication Technology & other relevant discipline
• Proficiency in GIS applications, GIS & GPS Remote Sensing, Computer Programming is required.
  

3.) Appplication Developer (Sort Code A3)
Requirements

• BSc / HND in Computer Science / Geography / Information & Communication Technology / Mathematics or any other relevant discipline.
• Additional Certification and proficiency in SQL, Java, MS-SQL, Web Application Development, Web Programming, XML Technology, PHP and/or ASP.Net, Web Designing with CMS, is required.

4.) Network Engineer / IT Security (Sort Code A4)
Requirements

• BSc / HND in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
• Additional Certification in Cisco, Mikrotik, Microsoft and good understandiing of network (WAN, MAN, WLAN, LAN) deployment & management, VSAT, Microwave installation/management, Internet Security, is required.

Other Requirements
Age: Applicants for ASP Cadre must be between 23 and 28 years of age.
a.) Height: Not less than 1.67 meters (5'6) for males and 1.63 meters (5'4) for females.
b.) Chest Measurement: Expanded chest measurement which is for males only, must not be less than 86 centimeters (34").
c.) Physical Fitness: Candidates must not have any physical deformities and will be required to pass a medical examination of physical fitness conducted by an acceptable Government Hospital.

d.) Be of Good Character

e.) Must be free of pecuniary embarrassment

f.) Must not be suffering from any of the following:

• Impediment of speech
• Gross malfunction of teeth or jaw preventing proper mastication of food.
• Knock knees
• Bow legs
• Bent Knees
• Flat feet
• Bent arms
• Deformed hands
• Defective eyesight, or squint eyes
• Amputation of any part of the body.

I have, it finially went thru on monday. I learnt it going 2be a recruitment of IT graduate, i pray dat God favour us o.

@ engr.ebiye congrats,didn't know u made it,talked 2 u on engineering forum during the recruitment exercise last year.
One thing i know is that selection is based on quota system,if the quota u fall into is highly competitive u need 2 fast and pray witout ceasing,especially if come from an area that is ready to sell their slot 4 money or is beefed up wit godfatherism.I for example made it pass state level to zonal,but didn't make it 2 Federal,and it was unbelievable that the name i saw representing my local government wasn't even shortlisted for zonal level,it was so pathetic. Some states are very competitive wit respect to some senatorial districts in d state,so get ready people cos its not gonna be easy,but its worth it if u get the job,the pay is good.

Thank God this time around its strictly ICT profession,would download form and fill before deadline.Just wanna try since i'm a Computer Engineer wit some certifications,I pray God's will be done.Goodluck everyone.

I'm from Delta, applied last but didn't make it, the pay atleast i know from someone i'm acquainted to, its not less than 120 for graduates, I stand to be corrected though. At state level, you get to be on the safer side if you made a 2:1 or upper credit and above, statistics used last year in delta and many other state, then moving onto zonal is oral interview with top police officers including the AIG of the zone, if you scale thru then you're moving onto federal level the final stage. Goodluck people

@ ucprais don't blame engr.ebiye,he.still in training and probably he wouldn't even have time 2 even browse,reply 2 threads and some other things could make him not to reply.I would try to call one of my friends that scaled thru last year currently on training now.To ur question,last year cut across all disciplines,humanities,arts,management sciences,but this year seams to be only ICT professionals,so d competition i think it wouldn't be that tough,the first stage last year was screening of credentials and physical examination of the body.I wish us all d best.
