Job Title: Marketing & Sales Representative

Location: The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Job Description
The Marketing & Sales representative will plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially managing time and productivity

Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:
Plan and manage business portfolio and territory according to an agreed market development strategy
Manage product, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
Communicate new product opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to commercial manager
Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing
Respond to and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time
Qualifications / Experience
BSc or HND in any Commercial/Business
Experience in local or international trade of chemicals is an added advantage
Professional Qualification and MBA is an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of marketing & sales Experience in sales, marketing , production, distribution and/or stockholding of chemicals will also be considered
Ability to work independently and in a team
Flexible, goal-oriented mentality
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
