HEALTH FACILITATOR
- Administers first aid, medication and specialized medical treatments for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically
- fragile and/or injured children in accordance with State laws and District policies.

- Administers mandated screenings (e.g. vision, dental, hearing, etc.) for the purpose of referring medical conditions and/or providing
- appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured children.

- Assesses situations involving students' safety, abuse (physical, sexual, drug, etc.) and other health related issues for the purpose of
- identifying problems, referring for proper treatment and complying with legal requirements.

- Collaborates with parents, students, health care providers, and/or public agencies for the purpose of promoting and/or securing
- student health services, providing information and complying with legal requirements.

- Conducts age appropriate programs and/or activities in conjunction with classroom curriculum for the purpose of supporting
- established lesson plans.

- Conducts site assessments (e.g. health issues, student health records, emergency preparedness, building/grounds environments,
- building facilities, etc.) for the purpose of identifying issues and/or providing recommendations for improving safety and accessibility.

- Counsels students and families on health conditions and lifestyle issues (e.g. mental health, pregnancy, sexually transmitted
- disease, substance abuse, etc.) for the purpose of facilitating a healthier student population.

- Develops individual student health care plans and emergency care plans for students with special care needs (e.g. plans, interprets,
- establishes, evaluates, etc.) for the purpose of addressing students’ health needs, providing direction to site personnel and/or
- implementing directions provided by parents and/or physicians.

- Implements health care plans for students with health problems for the purpose of meeting the needs of students with chronic health
- problems and/or accommodation requirements.

- Maintains contact with parents/guardians for the purpose of advising them of changes in student health and/or recommending
- further medical and/or emotional intervention.

- Maintains students confidential files, records and reports as required for compliance with various state, federal and administrative
- regulations (e.g. health care plans, agency referrals, accident reports, health services report, immunization reports, med counts,
- etc.) for the purpose of providing information required by legal requirements and professional standards.

- Monitors students referred for illness and/or injury for the purpose of attending to their immediate health care concerns and initiating
- follow-up care.

- Orders supplies and materials as needed for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

- Participates in a variety of meetings, workshops and seminars, Individual Educational Plan meetings, and interdisciplinary teams for
- the purpose of gathering, conveying and/or sharing information on students’ health needs, service delivery, educational programs
- and/or improving skills and knowledge.

- Provides care to students with chronic illnesses and to extremely high-risk students (e.g. allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizures,
- medically fragile, etc.) for the purpose of assisting the child in achieving the highest possible functional level.

- Provides training on a variety of health related subjects (e.g. CPR, disaster preparedness, child abuse, health education, medication

- management, policies and procedures, substance abuse, growth and development, food allergies, OSHA, hygiene, training
- opportunities and in-services for nurses, etc.) for the purpose of promoting a healthy lifestyle and/or acting as a resource to
- students, teachers, and other school personnel.

- Refers students requiring additional medical attention for the purpose of providing required follow-up treatment and services.
- Reports health and safety issues to assigned administrator and appropriate agencies (e.g. fights, suspected child or substance
- abuse, contagious diseases, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining students’ personal safety, a positive learning environment and
- complying with regulatory requirements and established guidelines.

- Researches a variety of topics relating to health and medical care (e.g. wellness, nutrition, treatment protocols, childhood diseases,
- etc.) for the purpose of providing information to staff, students, parents, and the public.

- Responds to emergency medical situations (e.g. severe falls, seizures, reactions, bleeding, etc. ) for the purpose of
- ensuring appropriate immediate medical attention and related follow-up action.

- Serves as a liaison regarding medical issues and District health programs between Board, Central Office, administration, teachers,
- staff, and/or parents (e.g. policies, procedures, issues, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining open communication between interested
- and concerned parties.

- Supervises school nurses (e.g. selects, counsels, disciplines, evaluates, assigns, sets priorities, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the
- efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

- Other Functions
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Applicant with 2-3 years experience in Health Care /Nursing (teaching hospital or college.)
- SKILLS are required to perform single, technical tasks with a need to periodically upgrade skills in order to meet changing job
- Conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: adhering to safety
- practices; administering first aid; handling hazardous materials/waste; operating equipment used in clinical setting; operating standard
- office equipment including using pertinent software applications; and preparing and maintaining accurate records.
- KNOWLEDGE is required to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios; read technical
- information, compose a variety of documents, and/or facilitate group discussions; and analyze situations to define issues and draw
- conclusions. Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: health
- standards and hazards; safety practices and procedures; stages of child development; pediatric and family nursing practices;
- community health concepts; and pertinent policies, codes, regulations and/or laws.

- HEALTH CARE /NURSING ASSISTANT
Healthcare assistants (HCAs) work in hospital or community settings under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. The role can be varied depending upon the healthcare setting.
Most commonly, HCAs work alongside nurses and are sometimes known as nursing auxiliaries or auxiliary nurses. HCAs also work alongside qualified midwives in maternity services.
Duties will depend on the form of therapy but are likely to include:
· preparing patients for their therapy
· setting up equipment to use in the session/treatment
· assisting the therapist in the treatment itself
· contributing to record keeping
· washing and dressing
· serving patients meals and assisting with feeding when necessary
· helping people to mobilize
· toileting
· bed making
· generally assisting with patients' overall comfort
· monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight
Nursing HCAs usually work a 37.5 hour week on a shift or Rota system, typically including nights and weekends. Part-time and flexible working is often available.
Applicant must have at least 1-2 year(s) experience in Auxiliary Nurse.

- HMO- Admin.
A skilled nursing facility with 176 beds is seeking a Managed Care/HMO Billing Administrator. This role will perform all functions necessary to maintain accurate accounts receivable, and ensure accuracy of resident bills with an HMO pay or source.
Required is at least 2 years of managed care/billing experience and/or experience with collections in a healthcare (hospital, skilled nursing) environment.
Applicant must have at least 1-3year(s) experience in administrative and insurance Nursing.

-ACCOUNT OFFICER
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Requirements: BSc or HND Accountancy 0-2 years’ experience with accounting software usage.

- INTERNAL AUDITOR
Major roles and responsibilities of internal audit function are summarized as below:
· evaluates and provides reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organization’s objectives and goals to be met
· reports risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the audit committee and provides recommendations for improving the organization’s operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance
· evaluates information security and associated risk exposures
· evaluates regulatory compliance program with consultation from legal counsel
· evaluates the organization’s readiness in case of business interruption
· maintains open communication with management and the audit committee
· teams with other internal and external resources as appropriate
· engages in continuous education and staff development
· Provides support to the company's anti-fraud programs.
Requirements: BSc or HND Accountancy with 1-3 years’ experience and ACCA/ICAN or student membership in final level.
