Job Summary:
The Logistics Officer is responsible for the efficient coordination and management of all logistics activities within the office(s), in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Ensure that all Procurement complies with company's standard Purchasing and Logistics procedures and donor requirements.
Identify sources for supplies and services; send out requests for quotations and provide full analysis of comparative prices; follow tender procedures as applicable; complete all required procurement documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct regular market surveys on prices; maintain a database of suppliers /vendors.
Prepare and maintain a bi-weekly Order Tracking Report of all outstanding purchases.
Provide quality assurance on supplies to ensure that the company is getting a value for money in all its purchases /services.
Manage a centralized Asset Register for the WfWI Nigeria office(s) to ensure timely and accurate information on all assets, including carrying out regular inventory checks and physical verification of assets and updating the database to reflect any changes.
Ensure up to date insurance contracts for all the company's assets and property.
Manage the stores in the office with an efficient tracking system for monitoring stock levels and resupply needs.
Ensure proper inventory control to prevent against loss, damage, theft or depletion of stock.
Ensure that all goods received by the company are recorded, stored and allocated in accordance with established procedures.
Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are properly registered, insured, serviced and maintained.
Oversee the company's communications systems, in coordination with IT Consultant, to ensure that all offices have appropriate and reliable means of communication.
Develop and implement a Security Management Plan for the company's office(s).
Ensure the safety and security of the company's assets and property.
Maintain efficient filing system for all logistics forms, records, competitive quotations, supplier and service contracts, etc.
Provide logistics support to field offices, as required, including logistics capacity building for all staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Degree.
3-5 years experience in a related field.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work with less supervision.
