Topic: LATEST ON INEC RECRUITMENT

In its avowed commitment to honest and transparent delivery of the upcoming General Elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cancelled the entire staff recruitment exercise conducted early this year.

The decision to this effect has been taken after a careful evaluation of INEC institutional and human capacities which has been undertaken with the sole aim of re-positioning the Commission to deliver on its mandate of ensuring free, fair and credible conduct of our future national elections.

However, INEC is deeply touched by this hard decision but which, in the prevailing circumstances, has to be taken as a bold step towards giving Nigerians electoral services that would be a qualitative improvement over past elections.

The Commission is also not unaware of the effects of this decision on the multitude of young Nigerians who promptly responded to its call by applying for placement into the positions advertised.

We regret whatever inconveniences caused our young compatriots who went through the excruciating interview process. However, INEC looks forward to a time when it would soon be convenient to engage more hands to beef up its workforce.

Credible election indeed.

Does he, seriously, want us to believe a word that he says? Mm..mmh. If the President does not keep two eyes on him...
If he wants to conduct a credible election as he put it, why doesnt he do away with some of the old staff and recruite ppl he can trust, of course maybe his trust is with the calibre of ppl who have been conducting the kinds of elections we've been having in this country! Sorry guys, I think I now believe his intentions are right!

YOU POWER HAS CHANGE HAND AND THE NEW MANAGEMENT OF INEC WILL LIKE TO FIX THEIR CANDIDATE IN THOSE POSITION. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON WHY THAT INEC RECRUITMENT EXERCISE WAS CANCELLED. IT IS NOT ABOUT CREDIBLE ELECTION.

I no blame them. it's very typical for Nigerians to be so insensitive to the plights of their neighbours yet they seem to connect with that of people far away. after dragging people round and round, all they could do was to just cancel every thing not withstanding what people went through. is it that they could not see the scripts or they want to be fraudulent as usual? don't they think we deserve more explanations and considerations? free and fair elections indeed when majority of the youths are crying even with certificates. well thank God for God o, they for don remove some of us from Nigeria.
