  • Responsible for sales and business results within the related business fields
  • Perform operational duties which include business development and account maintenance for defined industries
  • Offering 1st level-technical service and consulting to relevant customers
  • They are responsible for analysing prospects’ business and technical requirements and developing solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain customer profiles and concept
  • Monitor the market and provide market analysis and competitors profile
  • Maintain and expanding relationship with existing customers
  • Provide top quality technical service before and after sale
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade or modify products so that they meet customers’ needs more effectively.
  • Responsible for managing the ongoing support to customers to confirm that they continue to make effective use of the company products
  • Provide input for sales strategies
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen relationship
  • Ensure pricing management according to business unit directions
  • Ensure Customer Credit Management, monthly Reports (include rolling forecasts, visit reports etc)
  • Manage customer projects to develop new profitable businesses, submit input for Budgeting (Sales, Costs, Communication Issues)
  • Ensure proper sales activity planning, manage non conformances with clients and manage local relationship with nominated distributor(s)
  • Establishes productive relationship with key personnel in assigned customer accounts


Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in B2B sales
  • A postgraduate qualification in economics will be beneficial
  • Fluent in English Language (written and spoken)
  • Prior experience in Home and Personal Care Industry is an added advantage
  • Good presentaion and negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to sell products that are in need of technical explanation
  • A well-organized individual, who is meticulous and able to plan and prioritize activities
  • Ability to perform well under pressure would be suited to this role
