A NEWLY ESTABLISHED FINANCE AND CAPITAL HOUSE IS IN DIRE NEED OF AN INTERNAL AUDITOR AND RISK MANAGER.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 3YRS EXPERIENCE IN THE BANKING,STOCKBROKING AND OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS .
Risk Manager
Core functions for this position are:
• Develop and implement systems, policies and procedures for the identification, collection and analysis of risk related information.
• Educate and train the leadership, staff and business associates as to the risk management program, and their respective responsibilities in carrying out the risk management program
• Lead, facilitate, and advise departments in designing risk management programs within their own departments.
• Design contingency plans
• Decide whether to avoid the risk, reduce it, retain it or transfer it.
Qualifications
• A first degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Management or related discipline.
• A profession qualification by a highly recognised body.
• A Masters degree will be an added advantage
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of commercial lease operations.

• Sound analytical skills with a keen eye for details
• The ability to understand complex financial and insurance products
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.


Internal Auditor–
Core functions for this position are:
• Plan, organise and carry out the internal audit function to verify accuracy of records, compliance with standards, policies and procedures.
• Compile audit findings and make recommendations for modifications and improvements to systems and procedures.
• Review audit policies and programmes as well as monitor management's response and implementation.
• Coordinate coverage with the external auditors and ensure that each party is not only aware of the other's work but also well briefed on areas of concern
• Review and report on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of the financial and other information that is provided for management
Qualifications
• A first degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related discipline.
• A profession qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CIBN)
• A Masters degree will be an added advantage
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Experience in business analysis function preferably in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of commercial lease operations.
