The Independent National Electoral Commission is set to recruit categories of ad-hoc staff that will officiate in forth coming Voter Registration Exercise.
The categories of Ad-hoc staff are:
i. Category A - Serving NYSC Members
ii. Category B1 - Students of Federal Tertiary Institutions (excluding first year and final year students)
iii. Category C - Ex-NYSC Members who served during the 2009 Batches 'A'.'B' and 'C' service year/federal Civil Servants in the states on Grade Level 6-8
All persons who fall into the above categories must be computer literate and are requested to apply to the commission through the following process:
1) Stage 1: Online Application Process
The INEC website: http://www.inecnigeria.org to first apply and register online by filling the online Application/Registration form and obtain a unique Identification Number (IN) in the process
2) Stage 2: Submission of Application forms at NYSC/INEC State Offices:-
Category A
Forms downloaded and filled by serving NYSC Members should be signed and submitted to NYSC/FCT Offices.
Category B1
Forms download and filled by categories B1 should be endorsed by Head of Department or Dean of Students Affairs and submitted to INEC offices in the states/FCT
Category C
Forms downloaded and filled by Category C, should be signed and endorsed by referee before submission to INEC State/FCT Offices of domicile.
Please note that all those who applied prior to this notice should revalidate their application through their identification number.
All applications must be completed one week from date of this publication
