Genesis Deluxe Cinemas is a dynamic family entertainment corporation that is poised to capture substantial market share in one of the fastest growing service industries in the country: Entertainment. GDC is a Nigerian corporation corporate in 2008. GDC management team has over 30 years cinema experience acquired from working in England for the biggest cinema exhibition company - the Odeon. It has established her base of operations in Lagos and Port Harcourt and most recently, Enugu.
GDC launched its first cinema in 2008, located at the Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki, Lagos State with features that include six screens with stadium seating and of diverse seating capacity ranging from one hundred and forty (140) to two hundred and two (202), Dolby Digital Surround System in all screens, modern filmfood, filmcafe and filmjuice bar stands. All screens are endowed with luxury seats with cup holders and comfort cooling system. In addition, there is ample parking space for all our huge clientele base, disabled parking and rest room facilities.
Our Port Harcourt cinema comprises of four (4) screens; with seating capacity ranging between fifty (50) and fifty eight (50), Dolby Digital surround system in all screens, indoor Games arcade, underground car parking space, Gold and Deluxe class seating and a gold class bar. In addition, we offer corporate screen hire to organizations and late night shows.
Our newest cinema at Enugu comprises Five (5) screens, Dolby Digital surround system in all screens, Car parking space, G- Game zone, kids variety film food, corporate screen hire and late night shows.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Operations Manager

Qualifications

Minimum Educated Level – BSc/BA degree and MSc or equivalent vocational standard
Experience in setting and achieving sales and profit targets
2 - 3 years experience in the Cinema field or any structured organization
Appropriate post-graduate qualifications, and a full range of skills in training needs analysis, design of effective development interventions, coaching and staff development
Experience in planning work schedules for individuals and teams
Experience in recruiting, training and monitoring staff
Experience in analyzing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies
Experience in ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and under very tight deadlines


Marketing Manager

Qualifications

3 – 4 years experience as a marketing executive.
Ability to meet monthly and annual sales and revenue targets
Experience in relationship management and maintaining customer relations.
Minimum Educated Level – BSc/BA degree and MSc or equivalent vocational standard
People and interpersonal skills
Must have good communication skills
Ability to work under very tight deadlines
Computer literacy (MS Office suite – Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
Positive attitude
Time management abilities

HR Manager

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years experience in a generalist or Senior HR role
4 years experience in leading and managing people
Experience of developing and implementing new/amended HR polices and procedures.
Considerable experience of providing high quality advice and guidance to managers at all levels on all generalist aspects of
Experience of working in a large complex organization
Good up-to-date knowledge of developments, innovations and best practice in Human Resources particularly employee relations.
Consultation and Negotiation Skills
Good written skills – Able to write management reports and HR Policies and Procedures
An in depth understanding of HR best practice, policies and procedures and employment
Ability to use word, excel, powerpoint and Information systems
University Degree + CIPD or relevant qualification.
