Through a network of 36 offices in 5 continents (Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia) the company currently second nearly 4,000 Technical Engineering Specialists to the largest multi-national Oil & Gas Companies and major EPC Contractors, through well established global supply agreements.

To maintain these volumes of contract staff and successfully manage customer expectations and relations, the company prides itself on operational support excellence, even in the most challenging of project locations.

Their global operations are going from strength to strength and, as such, they seek an experienced, career minded Finance Manager to join the well established team in the Lagos Office , Nigeria


Reporting globally to the Regional Financial Controller (in Europe & Africa), locally to the Country manager based in Lagos and by proxy to Corporate Finance Control (CFC) in Amsterdam Head-Office,.


Duties:
• Oversee the monthly closing and reporting cycle ensuring deadlines are met;
• Manage tax compliance and audit functions across regional rep/branch office operations;
• Perform continuous review and development of processes across the region to improve both reporting and cost efficiencies;
• Manage and control the preparation of operational and cash budgets and re-forecast;
• Supervise, motivate, coach and conduct performance reviews for staff;
• Budgeting and forecasting;
• Cash collection and debtor control;
• Tender review and contracts management;
• Regional insurance and claims management;
• Special projects as directed by the CFO and CFC;


Requirements:
• HBO or Academic level of working and thinking;
• A strong commercial background;
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations (Nigerian and international);
• International experience in international tax management;
• Experience in working autonomously and managing a team
• Outstanding leadership skills;
• Change management experience;
• Previous experience developing, implementing and improving internal control systems;
• Knowledge of Exact and experienced in making reports from this system;
• ICAN qualified or equivalent;
