Editor
Planning, writing, editing magazine content and Ensure the smooth running of the magazine.
• Assisting in the sourcing of staff writers and reporters
• Advising the board on editorial direction to increase readership of the magazine
• Generating topics for articles and encouraging a team of staff to do the same
• Managing a team of staff and freelance feature writers
• Proofreading all pages after the production team has set them out before going to press
• Maintaining and raising the profile of the magazine
• Sending out briefs for work to writers (with a detailed summary of what is needed, the deadline, word count and fee, etc);


Qualification and Experience
A good Command of English language
• Must have a degree in The Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or Education, or one who has flair for writing, editing and
• Must have worked in the print media for at least five years.
• Must have good interpersonal communication skills
• Computer literacy will be an advantage.
