SummaryThe Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, training and development, performance monitoring and employee engagement.Key Responsibilities• Recruiting Staff - This includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, screening applications, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;• Implementing HR policies and other staff issues such as, performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management• Maintaining Employee Records;• Developing with departmental heads, HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;• Planning, and sometimes delivering, training, including inductions for new staff;• Analysing Training Needs in conjunction with departmental heads.• Responding to other ad-hoc queries from other personnel in the company.• Maintaining an accurate staff database and staff files• Monthly reporting on talent management• Other tasks as assigned by HR ManagerRelevant Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (The knowledge, skills and attitudes required for satisfactory job performance)Knowledge• The candidate must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:• Human Resources Management• Job Descriptions• Recruitment And Selection• Minimum of OND• No experience is needed as intensive training will be given to all shortlisted candidatesSkillsThe candidate must demonstrate the following skills:• Team Building Skills• Problem Solving Skills• Negotiations Skills• Effective Verbal And Listening Communications Skills• Effective Public Relations and Public Speaking Skills• Interviewing Skills• Time Management Skills• Ability to bend down and learn as intensive training will be given to all shortlisted candidates
