DRIVERS NEEDED
PRO.LOGDRIVERS is seeking drivers [Executives/Trailer & Truck] who would be responsible for all transportation services using company vehicles and keep them in good condition at all times. Drivers will work under the direct supervision of the Logistics Administrative Assistant / and in close collaboration with the regional program team will be responsible for providing assistance and support in transport according to their capabilities.
Specific responsibilities and obligations responsibilities and obligations of drivers include but are not limited to: - Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as checking water, oil, tires, report all non-routine problem or defective equipment to the Logistics Administrative Assistant / or at the Administration. - Follow any specific instructions, procedures, and standards for efficient and safe operation of the vehicle and also for the care and safety of passengers. - Perform all tasks assigned to it and under its position. - Keep the car clean, polished and in good condition. - Visually inspect and manually test the vehicle before starting, and before accepting passengers.- Maintain and manage communications devices, emergency response and emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kit, flares or reflectors rockets, etc.. - Read and understand the specific manual vehicle and be able to handle all the devices on board. - Observe all traffic laws and speed limits. - Maintain the sheet edge and enter all the necessary information. - Keep an inventory of tools and car accessories. - Provide assistance to the Office of Management whenever necessary Additional Responsibilities - Work towards the achievement of the overall objectives of the organization operations, effective managerial and lateral relations and teamwork. - Ensure understanding of roles, responsibilities, lateral relationships and obligations. - Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be requested by the Administration.
Obligations staff - Establish and ensure effective working relationships with all staff. - Ensure good working relationships with their counterparts from the national society and leadership. - Ensure the effectiveness of a good working relationship with the technical departments and service at the national level, delegation and central. - Respect and work according to the Code of Conduct of the organization.
Personal Specification
- Skills and Experience Being in possession of a driving license valid and clean driving record, reviewed annually.
-Have exceptional driving skills have a vision (near and far) 20/20 within two (2) eyes, natural light, color and normal night and peripheral vision.
- Being able to read and understand the rules, operating and maintenance manuals, procedures of the institution and the usual travel documents.
-Be able to solve practical problems and react quickly and calmly face any changes or emergencies. Have a thorough knowledge of the streets, roads, railways and airports in Lagos State in case of passenger use displacement.
-Exercise discretions in areas related to the mission, including confidential information seen or heard. Applicants must be more than 25 years old, married or single, able to speak and write English fluently, minimum of 3 years experience as a driver in Lagos state, medically fit, high level of integrity.
-Flexible and able to adapt to changes in working condition driving. Willing and able to do wherever the job requires. Motivated and energetic with a good sense of judgment and initiative.
-Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
