Our Client a leading insurance brokering firm is seeking to employ the services of an Underwriter

Job Roles
· Negotiation and renewal of contracts
· Portfolio management and business relation
· Monitoring premium and claims payment
· Visiting clients and producing progress reports
· Training (internal and external)

Qualification
· HND/BSC in insurance related degree preferred
· 2-5years experience in e reputable insurance/insurance brokering firm
· Very strong technical knowledge (underwriting and claims handling)
· Good knowledge of insurance classes, reinsurance and retrocession.
· Very Good reporting skills
· Good supervisory skills
· Ability to quickly build very good and sustainable relationship with cedants
· Very good skills in business software: Office package and RMS.
· Capacity for analyzing and reasoning;
· Capacity for planning;
