    Job Description
    Ceres Recruitment is a young,
    dynamic and professional
    recruitment consultancy set up
    to provide comprehensive
    recruitment solutions to service
    the needs of specific niche
    markets (namely Oil and Gas and
    telecoms) in Africa. We are
    currently based in Nigeria with
    an aggressive expansion plan
    across the entire African Sub-
    continent.

    Recruiters will have the following
    responsibilities:
    • Developing a good
    understanding of prospective
    client companies, their
    industry, what they do and their
    work culture and environment
    • Approaching new clients and
    offer recruitment and website
    advertising and
    subscription services
    • Ensuring all terms and
    conditions are signed and agreed
    prior to working on
    client vacancies.
    • Conferring with clients to
    identify personnel needs,
    workforce planning
    strategies, and search
    assignments.
    • Ensuring an understanding of
    job duties responsibilities and
    business
    requirements.
    • Developing and maintaining
    strong working relationships with
    HR managers,
    Line Managers and key people in
    client organizations to sustain a
    partnership
    that yields success, predictable
    results and credibility.
    • Developing and maintaining a
    network of contacts to help
    identify and source
    candidates
    • Leveraging online recruiting
    resources and in-house database
    to identify and
    recruit the very best candidates.
    • Creating and fostering
    relationships with colleges and
    diverse professional
    organizations to attract and
    recruit candidates
    • Reviewing resumes and
    credentials for appropriateness
    of skills, experience and
    knowledge in relation to position
    requirements.
    • Providing complete, accurate,
    and inspiring information to
    candidates about the company
    and position.
    • Prescreening candidates.
    Creating and presenting
    prescreening questions to the
    client for collaboration and
    approval.
    • Managing and coordinating all
    communication with candidates.
    • Interviewing all shortlisted
    candidates, meet where possible.
    • Managing the scheduling and
    logistics of all interviews
    between candidates and the
    client.
    • Preparing candidates for
    interviews with clients by
    providing detailed
    information on the client, their
    business strategy, department
    background, job
    descriptions, and expectation-
    setting.
    • Organizing, leads and
    documents post-interview
    debrief/feedback and analysis
    with the client and candidates.
    • Performing detailed reference
    checking on selected candidates
    and reviews and make available
    to the client
    • Negotiating offers of
    employment with selected
    candidates under the direction
    of the client and within their
    compensation policy guidelines.
    • Ensuring all recruitment activity
    is accurately logged on the
    recruitment
    database
    • Achieving weekly Key
    Performance Indicators and
    objectives as set out by
    Management
    • Working with recruitment
    consultants, managers and
    directors contributing to the
    efficiency of the recruitment and
    relationship management issues
