A Retail Company in Port Harcourt is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities
  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build Client’s brand.
  • Develop a marketing plan that will aggressively pursue target market shares in the different areas of the economy.
  • Prepare presentation materials outlining company’s ICT services and present to potential new accounts.
  • Recommend continuous improvement initiatives for sales call plan and other sales strategies.
  • Meet specified budget plan by improving sales call plan and increasing account base.
  • Recommend action that ensure that all resources are focused on appropriate priorities to maximize.
  • Ability to understand changing market dynamics and translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company marketing objectives.
  • Input and analyze customer data; utilize data to recommend next steps for sales process.


Qualifications
  • A bachelors’s degree with not below Second Class lower grade. A Masters Degree with specialisation in marketing will be an added advantage.
  • 4 – 8 years in marketing/sales/business development experience in an ICT company.
  • 3-5 years Experience in a similar position with ability to motivate and provide leadership to the marketing/sales team.
  • Experience in building brand awareness and support.
  • Effectively utilize sales-related information technology applications (PowerPoint, Excel/Word/Access).
