Re: Aptitude Test Invitation from chevron Nigeria through Akinwumi Toyin
Thanks for the English lesson guys, unfortunately Dragnet's Verbal Reasoning section has almost nothing to do with lexical structure and grammatical construct. It's more about being able to read fast and remember almost everything you read because you will need it to answer the four questions that follow.
For those that are yet to write a Dragnet test, please note that Dragnet uses standard GSE format (3 sections; Verbal, Numerical & Abstract Reasoning). Link here to sample questions >>>> http://www.gse.org.ng/questions.aspx
The Verbal section has 5 passages, each passage has 4 ?s with 4 options each and u have to pick the 2 options that are correct based on the info provided in the passage. I.e. 20 questions in 17 minutes. Same with Numerical, 20 ?s in 17 minutes. Each ? has options A - F. The Abstract section contains 16 ?s, with options A - F to be completed in 16 minutes.
It's common knowledge that Dragnet set the same set of questions all the time but you never know if it will be during your turn to take the test that they will decide to repent. Who knows? Just be prepared. All the best...

Re: Aptitude Test Invitation from chevron Nigeria through Akinwumi Toyin
Simple techniques to pass dragnet test are;
1. All dragnet test comprises 3 sessions. Maths, English, and figures series.
2.The maximum score is 100% and pass mark is 40%.
3. A session is 100%, and at the end of the day, your score is determined by adding up your
total percentage scores and dividing by 3.
4. I make sure that i master a session perfectly. Imagine getting 90% in figure series, 15% in Maths and 15% in verbal. You would have a total of 120% divided by 3 which is 40%(pass mark)
5. Finally, for dragnet tests, know your areas of strenght and obtain maximum score. Then do ur best in ur areas of weaknesses too.
N.B no negative marking.
Success and best of luck.
Remember to pray cos God Almighty has the final say.

@bravehost and @akan, a big thank you to you guys, You are the best...
Re: Aptitude Test Invitation from chevron Nigeria through Akinwumi Toyin
@bravehost4u. I strongly disagree with no.2. The pass mark is not fixed, it is determined by the overall performance of all the candidates and the positions available.
