Job Description


  • The Contract Analyst is responsible for the reviewing, processing, analyzing and tracking of agreements, revisions and/or contractual correspondence.
  • The position ensures that all contractual terms and impacts are processed in a timely and accurate manner and ensures compliance with the established guidelines and procedures.
  • Coordinates and communicates agreement and/or system impacts with internal and external customers as appropriated. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensures contracts have been properly authorized according to the Transaction Authority policy and that all terms and conditions are accurately captured .
  • The candidate could see negotiating sub-contract orders and monitoring sub-contractors, planning critical dates, or organizing labour. Would also be responsible for agreeing extra work to be done on a contract, helping to resolve any disputes which come up, and identifying areas for improvement in company's contracting processes.
  • Processes, reviews and coordinates contracts, amendments, exhibits and correspondence by applying established terms and conditions.
  • Ensures compliance with company standards as applies to necessary documentation and tracking of contract preparation, processing and reporting.
  • Responds to requests from internal and external customers and ensures all appropriate actions are taken and/or communicated to the appropriate personnel accurately and timely.
  • Provide backup support to the Marine Contract Analyst.


Requirements Qualifications


  • Obtained a degree or higher in Maritime or technical field.
  • Candidate will need to understand all aspects of the contracting process, and technical client requirements, plus good commercial sense is a must. The Contract analyst need to be able to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of people. So he should be a team player using his own initiative and make own decisions as well.
