Our clients include commercial banks, primary mortgage institutions, leasing companies, telecoms, microfinance banks, discount houses, finance houses, etc.
ACCOUNT MANAGER - MFBs (Microfinance Banks)
The Account Manager will be in charge of managing existing accounts in the regulatory financial services industry as well as identify new revenue opportunities within each account. This position reports to the Head, (Sales & IT) and is open to different regions including Lagos. You must have prior success growing accounts through effective planning, great strategies and providing great customer service. You are effective at finding and qualifying new opportunities, up-sell consistently and build strong relationships with management and staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Works closely with Technology, Business Development & Sales departments and other appropriate departments to satisfy customer needs and requests.
· Informs Technology, Business Development departments of customer problems, changes or new information in a timely, professional manner.
· Assist the client in optimizing the use of our products, applications and drive usage of company’s products.
· Maintains and conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times.
· Recommends new products and services to company management.
· Communicates in a professional, timely manner.
· Educates him/herself in all phases of the customer’s business.
· Prepares an annual plan for products to pursue and selling strategies for major accounts.
· Maintains, updates and utilizes knowledge of company products and operations policies for use in presentations and other selling situations.
· Identifies current and future needs of customer and potential customers regarding company’s products
· Utilizes computer based tools to give weekly reports and makes every attempt to expand knowledge of how to use in sales process, i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
· Submits reports and all other required paperwork to management as directed in an accurate and timely manner.
· Appreciated previous experience: Commercial Bank, Telecom, Primary Mortgage Institution, Microfinance Bank or Leasing Company


REQUIREMENTS
Ø B.Sc or its equivalent; an M.Sc and/or Professional membership will be an added advantage
Ø Willing to travel by road on short notice to various locations where client businesses are
Ø Ability to relate with people at the grassroots level with a bid to understand and offer solutions to their needs/requests
Ø Presentable and confident to take an account from start to subscription and usage of company products
Ø Proactive in nature to address changing and emerging trends in the industry
