Gooday everyone can anybody help on how to configure an internet modem manualy and place the shortcut on the desktop on window vista or window7

Hi. 99% of these internet Modems are plug and play meaning, their installation files are embedded. Plug it in and run the installer which will automatically place a shortcut on the desktop. Unplug, restart system and plug back. This applies to both Vista & Win 7. Cheers!!!!
N/B: Some modems will always give you the option of installing anytime you plug them in, if you run the installation more than one you will be uninstalling.
