Can any body in the house help me with the procedures of reloading a dell system with windows xp. I have really spent alot of money paying people to reload my system each time the need arises. I just need to reload one now. Please help.

I will really appreciate if you guys can post the procedures here for me. I just need to know how to boot from the cd rom in other to reformat the system. I will be k with that. Thanks a whole as you help.
- go to bios setting by pressing F2 or del or F10 key on your keybourd as soon as u switch o your system.
- so to boot order and make the cd rom your forst boot device.
- save by pressing F10 and restart the sysytem.
- u'll see a promt that press any key to boot from c.d.
the system stats booting form c.d.
- at the first prompt, press enter, accept agreement by pressing F8,
- if it brings the previous operating system, press esc key to install XP afresh
- delete the prevoius partition by prssing D and create a new one by pressing C,
- press F to format the new partition.

@ Wale, thanks a million man for that concise procedure i will just follow the procedure. Am grateful to you. I think what i will need to do after that is to load the system drivers. What are they major ones to load for the system to work perfectly. Can i source the drivers online? The system is a dell desktop.
check their website and type the name of the desktop in d search.then go to drivers
If I can understand u well, u want 2 repair or install fresh O. S. Now if there is existing O. S ( operating system i.e XP) on your computer, just boot up the computer, insert XP CD, the CD wil untorun or double click the CD in my-Computer, click install XP, then click repair or upgrade. The rest steps are interractive. But if u want 2 load fresh XP, then follow Wale's instructn. About ur drivers, u need to back it up b4 begn any installation, although u can get the driver online.
