Business Development Manager (NeTPlus Advisory)

Our growing supplier network is a first in Nigeria and it offers potential opportunities for suppliers of all sizes to grow their businesses. With world-class procurement tools such as RFx templates, Auction systems, Spend Analysis modules available on the platform, we offer procurement organizations across the country a new way of managing their supply processes.

We are looking for energetic, highly motivated, entrepreneurial self-starters with experience in defining and executing effective go-to market strategy, prospecting, cultivating, nurturing and closing business deals with large enterprises, and government. Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing and supply chain processes is desirable.

As a Business Development Manager, you will quarterback an experienced, professional and accomplished team of resources, work with clients and partners, to successfully develop and close deals around the country based on your network and resources. We are looking for seasoned professionals, who enjoy winning and leveraging their executive relationships. Responsibilities:


• Develop an effective go-to-market strategy for our supply management solutions in Nigeria
• Identify and build strategic accounts
• Effectively and aggressively manage all aspects of a complex sales cycle
• Establish a qualified pipeline of business and identify strategies for winning them
• Conduct supply management related seminars and webinars for prospective customers
• Grow business through new customer acquisitions and add-ons to existing customer base through subscription renewals
• Close Business!!! Set and surpass self- stated revenue goals


Requirements:


• BA/BSc. degree with minimum of second-class (upper division) from a reputable university, MSc/MBA will be a plus
• Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience in procurement, consulting, software marketing or business development functions in a top-tier firm
• Executive relationships in following verticals will be a plus - Financial Services, Manufacturing, Airline, Telecommunication, Oil & Gas, Government (federal & state)
• Well versed in the web technologies
• Well versed in communicating value propositions to Directors and C-Level decision makers
• Experience with rapidly growing start-up environments
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
