ROLE : Business Development Manager

TERRITORY: Nationwide sales

LOCATION: Based in Lagos/Abuja/Asaba/Enugu

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

OBJECTIVES: Identifying and generating new business in key industries.
Generating long-term business through tenders

PLACE IN ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE : Reporting to the Sales Manager

PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generating leads and identifying new business opportunities
[Responding to tender RFPs]
Delivering sales presentations and product training

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS: ₦1.2m basic salary per annum depending on Experience
Company car with driver
Mobile, bonuses, statutory holiday, healthcare package

Person Specification
EXPERIENCE: Essentials:- Demonstrable sales experience
Experience of medical sales and/or tender process management

Desirable:- Experience of selling healthcare or PPE related products or services, particularly to health i institutions or government and non-government agencies

KNOW-HOW: Essentials:- Understanding, developing and managing customer accounts
Negotiating sales and writing and developing sales proposals and forecasts
Developing, negotiating and managing bids and tenders
Delivering sales presentations and product training

Desirable:- Analyzing the financial potential and performance of customer accounts
Understanding segmentation, targeting and positioning
Developing a product portfolio
Managing sales process

QUALIFICATIONS: Essentials:- Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology and Industrial Chemistry or it's equivalent.

Desirable:- Any additional sales training courses acquired

SKILLS AND ABILITY: Essential:- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAGE ERP and Sage ACT
Fluent in written and spoken English
Free of any criminal record

Desirable:- Familiarity with one or more CRM systems
