Position Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for managing quality systems at the flour milling company, ensuring production compliance with global QA standards as well as local regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and improving QA capability and systems to ensure timely QA support, product release / reject decisions
  • Lead the continuous improvement objectives of the company while implementing Lean Operations across all functions in the organisation
  • Ensure the facility, practices and products conform to the Local Food control Authority guidelines while maintaining a good working relationship with the authorities
  • Ensure all operating licences (Health & Safety, Civil Defence, Environmental, Truck etc.) are maintained in all areas of the facility
  • Ensures that the company receives quality raw materials and dispatches optimum quality products satisfactory to the customers


Qualifications and Experience

  • 1st Degree qualification in a related field from a reputable institution
