HELLO GUYS,
IS IT WISE APPLYING FOR A JOB WHILE STILL SERVING B/COS I APPLIED FOR A JOB IN ONE OIL SERVICING COMPANY IN PORT HACOURT AND I WAS CALLED FOR TEST AND AFTER INTERVIEW SOMETIMES LAST YEAR .
IMAGINE I WAS JUST DOING TRIAL AND ERROR AND TO MY SUPRISE I HAVE BEEN OFFERED A JOB.
BUT I DON,T KNOW WHAT TO DO COS THE MAN I AM WORKING FOR REFUSE ME LEAVING WITHOUT COMPLETING MY SERVICE YEAR AND AT THE SAME TIME I WANT TO HAVE NYSC CERTIFICATE WITHOUT EXTENSION AS EXTENSION IS THE ORDER OF THE DAY IN THE STATE I AM PRESENTLY SERVING, I STILL HAVE FIVE(5) GOOD MONTHS TO GO.
SOMEONE PLS ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO............

infact...it is more dan wise...
it gives U opportunity to browse and get acquainted with tests, interviews ...et al...b4 u actually complete ur service...[where most coys com in...dey really want that ur discharge cert]...cos i no of enuff folks dat got their jobs waiting for dem..and dey hit it immediately after service...so u can wet d ground b4 u finish...but na God sha o...

I advise u that u complete ur service o [if ur Oga refuses to understand with U]...
If the coy [that offered u a job] really wants U [and if that place is urs] they'll wait for U [not that u r taking chances]...but pls wait & complete ur service.
Som folks [that av seen] went away with it [without having extension], but pls.. dont try it.
They 'll call U...just relax

my brother,l must first congratulate you ...you have taken a step in the rite direction..
l think you have to notify you prospective employer that you have five months to go and see wat they have got to say to that..sure they knew u r still serving.
am still serving too and would like you to send me tips on how you wrote your cv and interview.my email is [email protected].

I'M ALSO SERVING AND DOING THE SAME AS U.

ADV. FOLLOW THE LETTER AND ASK THEM TO GIVE SOME TIME TO
COMPLETE UR SERVICE, I BET THEY WILL INSTEAD OF LETTING GO.

IT'S AN OPPORUNITY U HAVE UTILISE IT BUT DONT FAIL TO FINISH UR SERVICE.

Its actually expected of every Corps member. Its a year of Jobseeking.
if u miss it, u miss out, so grab all the time with all u've got. Dont let your LGI's and ZI's limit u, remember dey have a job already.
