Hi there,
I came across someone who actually took part in the just concluded welders train-the-trainer certification program in South Africa and if you are familiar with the parlance in welding, the training will involve a lot of practicals. PTDF intends to train you to become a coded welder starting from the cradle that is from 1F to 6G. And you will be awarded with a diploma from the International Institute of Welding.

I understand the training starts in Nigeria for some months before the best performers are sent to South Africa, However I will like to know if the selection exams to do the training involves welding related questions or tests of general knowledge. Also, is the training on full sponsorship with maintennance allowance or does one cater for himself?
