Job Position: Help desk technician
Job Description:
- build rapport and elicit problem details from desk help customers
- prioritize and schedule problems, escalate problems to the appropriate technician
- apply diagnostic utilities to aid troubleshooting
- identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organisation
- install anti virus software
- test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved
Qualification:
- good knowledge of an ICT driven environment
- system administration
- LAN knowledge
- Servers
- Networking knowledge
- hardware configuration maintenance
- good knowledge of Macintosh OS X will be an added advantage
