Job Position: Help desk technician
Job Description:
  • build rapport and elicit problem details from desk help customers
  • prioritize and schedule problems, escalate problems to the appropriate technician
  • apply diagnostic utilities to aid troubleshooting
  • identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organisation
  • install anti virus software
  • test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved

Qualification:
  • good knowledge of an ICT driven environment
  • system administration
  • LAN knowledge
  • Servers
  • Networking knowledge
  • hardware configuration maintenance
  • good knowledge of Macintosh OS X will be an added advantage
