EMTS-Etisalat Nigeria is currently recruiting for the following positions in its Marketing Segments Team:
POSITION: Specialist, Analytics & Consumer Insight

DIVISION: Marketing Segments & Strategy

Reports to: Manager, Analytics & Consumer Insight

WORK BASE: Lagos

JOB SUMMARY: Analyze, profile and model activities in the areas of consumer propensity and segmentation to increase understanding of the customer’s behaviour patterns and provide actionable insights in developing strategies that will increase the customer lifetime value on the network

Principal Functions
· Analyze micro-profiles of all market segments, design models using customer profile attributes, and develop multiple scenarios to illustrate behavior patterns in creating, targeting and positioning campaign strategies
· Develop sensitivity and business models that support direct-to-consumer marketing programmes and maximize execution efficiencies
· Conduct analyses with a focus on experimental design, assessment, execution, and measurement of current marketing programmes
·Evaluate proposed marketing programmes and conduct behavioural, data mining, customer segmentation, predictive modeling, performance management, and other relevant statistical analyses related to proposed and current marketing programmes
·Analyze and interprete data in support of direct marketing strategy development, programme implementation and evaluation/back-end analysis
· Summarize analytic findings and integrate with non-traditional data sources (research findings, media surveys, customer behaviors, etc.), when appropriate, to enhance campaign development initiatives
·Develop and use all relevant metrics and measures to continually monitor inactivity and revenue generating base and take appropriate actions to ensure consistent usage and reduce inactivity
· Conduct analysis and present findings leading to improved customer identification, attraction and retention techniques and methodologies

EDUCATIONAL REQUIRMENTS:
· 1st degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
· Industry certification and/ or postgraduate/ professional qualifications in related field may be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
· 5 yrs directly relevant work experience
· Expert knowledge of industry competitive environment, consumer trends and trade practices
· Advanced data mining and analytical skills such as SAS and SQL
· Excellent understanding of customer data analysis, propensity modelling and segmentation techniques
· Excellent understanding of data manipulation and interrogation techniques, including data mining, linear and logistical regression, CHAID and clustering
