Vacancy For The Post Of Accounting Officer

Duties
Banking/Lodgement of all Receipts (cash & Cheques)
Maintenance of banks lodgement register
Keeping track of all return cheques and raising of journal entries
Postings of all receipts and payment into the accounting system
Custodian of petty cash floats (cash & vouchers)
Confirmation of actual petty cash balance and rendering report to account manager for signing
Preparation of cheque requisition vouchers and making payment into bank
Maintenance and submission of daily payment register to Finance Manager
Maintenance and submission of weekly expense to appropriate authority
Keeping record of all cheques issued and bank
Proper keeping of subcontractor file and payment
Any other duties directed by the MD or Finance Manager

Good knowledge of basic accounting process and procedure
Proven track record as a high achiever
Able to work under pressure and to overcome resistance to achieve results
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Educational Qualification
B. Sc / HND in Accountancy
Student member of ICAN

Required Experience

2 -3 Years’ experience
Age
22– 28 years
