Web Developer vacancy..open to ONE exception person only - Abuja, Nigeria -Dont Dull!

We have some exciting projects in motion and wants you to lead the charge with your expertise in front-end, visualization and UI hotness. You’re presumed to have been intimate with the design and development of web (& some desktop) applications and have serious no-kidding strong WEB-DEV skills . You have experience in developing rich UIs in web browsers (you are the snake charmer of browsers; they render when they see you coming). You have experience with large client-side applications, and are strong with an object oriented programming language. And, did we mention that you have serious WEB-DEV Skills?


Requirement/Skills/Experience:

• Candidate must be resident in Abuja
• Successful implementation of PHP,MySQL, AJAX, JQuery Plugins, JavaScript, Zend, Smarty, J2EE, J2SE, and some binary protocols
• Scalable web service and desktop app design
• Back-end web programming and database design
• Writing interactive web applications using server- and client side JavaScripting
• Must be experience with HTML4//5 and CSS2/3
• Experienced with CMS development
• Strong Experience with graphic design for the web (Adobe fireworks, Photoshop etc)
• Hands-on experience with various web technologies such as server-push and messaging platforms/technologies (such as XMPP, WAMP, RabbitMQ, or Redis)
• Solid experience with Test Driven Development, Design Patterns and OOP
• Well versed in cross-browser issues

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of full software development life-cycle

• Experience using PHP (and other server-side langs) and web design technologies
• Continuous integration and development

• Linux/Unix/ Server side experience
• Strong web graphics design skills

• Worked with CMS & Open Source apps such as Joomla, Drupal etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Find the need, plan it and do it yourself! You have tremendous initiative and can work independently
• Value and thrive on teamwork and collaboration (yes, able to work independently AND with others).
• Able to discuss technical issues clearly and succinctly. Excellent written, oral, nonverbal and sarcastic communication skills a must.
• Demonstrate background in Computers (must understand basics & fundamentals )
  
• Can code in big open loft and tolerate and occasional 80’s mash-up.
